Hi guys, we decided based on requests we would offer a few common parts in the front suspension as a package. These Mevotech parts are the best aftermarket we found in terms of materials and warranty and our direct relationship means we can address any issue swiftly. We are offering a range of items from basic "core kit" components to full refresh kits with lifetime Superpro bushings pressed in. We have also made a few kits that include our rear adjustable components.

We are now pleased to offer a full front refresh kit for the IS300. Whether you're looking to give your daily driver some TLC, purchasing an older IS300 and wanting to start off on the right foot, or just want to get rid of tire wear and loose steering, this is the perfect kit for you. We have done all of the dirty work in finding the best OEM replacement parts on the market for you. Proforged has a 1,000,000 mile warranty that they stick to on all of their parts.

Kit Includes
Mevotech inner tie rod ends
Mevotech outer tie rod ends
Mevotech lower ball joints
Mevotech lower control arms (Option)
Mevotech Upper Arms (Option)
Product Details

Tie Rod Ends
Metal design of internal components - Internal metal designs are widely used in the manufacture of Mevotech X Factor tie rod ends. These designs incorporate highly durable upper and lower metal bearings that surround the tie rod end stud and ball, and they include grease fittings to allow for grease and lubrication to be injected into the central area to prolong the life of the tie rod end.
Greaseable - Greaseable tie rod ends enable the joint to be serviced, to flush out old grease and contaminants by injecting new grease during inspection and maintenance routines.
Black oxide coating - The black oxide coating provides high resistance to variable corrosion factors such as road debris and adverse road and weather conditions, ensuring prolonged life of the tie rod end.

Ball Joints
SAE 1045 Forged Steeling Housings
Ball Studs Forged From ultra-strong SAE4140 Chromoly Steel
Ring-Retained, Accordion-style boot
CNC-Milled Fit Surfaces

Control Arms
Hardware included
OE Material Construction
Fully assembled with premium ball joints and bushings
Greasable fittings

If you're also looking for bushings, refer to our master bushing kit (found here). You will find all of the IS300 bushings you need at a discount for buying them in a kit, compared to buying each one individually.

We are unable to sell each of these parts individually. They can only be sold as one kit. Thank you for understanding.

Ah Mike, you're a few weeks too late for me on this one!! I just finished scouring the 'net for these same components; this would have been a time saver for sure.

Can you comment as to your choice of Proforged over Moog? Your description notes that these parts are greasable, but upon close inspection the photos show no grease fittings in sight; just a small hunk of metal where the zerk would go on the ball joint.

As well, which parts have what finishes? The ball joint clearly has a black oxide finish, but the outer tie rod end and lower control arm look painted, and the inner rod end looks anodized or otherwise.

We need to alter the description a bit.
Outers are not grease able in the sense that they have a fitting. Also the PROForged outers are what we will provide initially as we have them in stock. The MEVOTECH outers we do not have in person so I cannot comment on the finish. The PROForged parts were selected because they use chromoly on their inners and we will be using them in the midangle kit we will release soon.

The ball joint and tie rods seem to have a black ecoat like a factory arm.

I like both manufacturers as they aim to make bulletproof improved products with good warranties.

Hey mike,

Is there any way to just purchase this for the passenger side? I had a feeling it would throw off the counts for the complete set but I thought I might as well ask :).

Thank you!

livening up an old thread. but from this post it originally has the proforged lower ball joints and on the current website it now has mevotech lower ball joints. what are your guys's experience on these two joints? or are there any others you recommend. i do like the proforged has a great warranty on it though.

how long have you had them? are they already pre-greased? do you know if the proforged are already pre-greased?

October last year. They are non serviceable parts so everything is ready to go. It's the next best option to spending a fortune on OE parts IMO

I just responded to an email so I will cut and paste here.
the short answer is that PROForged stop offering them and we had to find an alternative. We have worked directly with MEVOtech on our LS460 arms and the Supreme line offers a lifetime warranty so they were a well-qualified substitute. Is there anything from your personal experience that would give a negative impression of the Mevotech brand?
Availability is the largest challenge for us to offer kits like these as there a many parts involved and they all have different demands. Something coming is that we will soon offer the #2 arm complete with poly bushings installed as part of the refresh kit.

Thank you,

no, i didn't think anything was wrong with mevotech. I just wanted to get as much information to make a purchase decision. I wasn't sure if you chose mevotech over proforged for quality over a distribution thing. but if you had to choose one or the other regardless of availability which one would it be?

The issue was supply. On the margin you could argue the specs of the PROForged were better, but if you can only buy a RH lower ball joint or left side tie rod end, it does not matter too much in the end.

I'm looking to refresh my suspension and I'm currently making a list of the various components and I wanted to know, are there are any after market front lower control arms that are adjustable?

Not to my knowledge. Not sure what you would need to adjust anyway?

So the rain for my question is because I plan on buying both upper and lower control arms for the rear, as well as, the front upper control arms. So just to be safe I wanted to know if there was such a thing as an adjustable lower arm for the front since all the other components I plan on getting will be adjustable. Clearly I'm kw to this, sorry. I just want to be in the safe side and make sure that with all those changes, the front lower arm will be okay by not being adjustable like the others. Thanks.

Yes, there are some lower with the #2 arm. Not really a big difference. Just install poly bushings on the lowers.

updated to latest description. We have added a lot more refresh kits lately and made the most popular configurations available as kits.
